1. What did Jesus teach concerning marriage? Matthew 19:4-6

2. How are wives to treat their husbands? Ephesians 5:22-24; Colossians 3:18

3. How are husbands to treat their wives? Ephesians 5:25-28; Colossians 3:19; I Peter 3:7

Note: Husbands are to sacrifice themselves for their wives andwives are to follow their husbands. Both of these actions requirethem to put their spouse ahead of themselves.

4. What are we taught about intimate relations within a marriage? I Corinthians 7:3-6

5. Are husbands and wives allowed to divorce their spouses? I Corinthians 7:10-11; Matthew 5:31-32; Malachi 2:14-16

6. What about for a spouse that doesn’t believe in the Lord? I Corinthians 7:12-15

7. Are we allowed to remarry if our spouse dies? I Corinthians 7:39;Romans 7:2-3

8. Are we allowed to marry more than one person? Mark 10:7-8; I Corinthians 7:2

Note that the words man, wife and husband here are singular. Weare to have only one husband or wife.
